- Checking scaffold rails.

A comprehensive training package prepared by Ventia’s Registered Training Organisation through collaboration between Ventia and the OFSC. The training guides the participant through design considerations, scaffold compliance obligations and the practical requirements of working with scaffolding.

An engaging video covering fundamental considerations all the way from choosing a scaffold to dismantling it at the end of the job. With catchy messaging and a concise 3-minute running time, this video is a great tool to raise awareness around the risks present when working at heights.
Webinar – Scaffolding Risk Safety Management
Hosted by Federal Safety Commissioner (FSC) David Denney, this webinar included presentations by Federal Safety Officer (FSO) Julian Bedford; accredited builder Paynters’ HSEQ manager Daniel Dunne; and National HSEQ Manager for BASE Industries (a scaffold compliance company that provides and facilitates scaffold training) Jordy Adshead. The webinar concluded with a Q&A session responding to comments and questions from some of the 600 attendees.

Hazard 2020
Hazard 2020 Campaign Final Report
The OFSC launched the Hazard 2020 Campaign in the second half of 2020 to target scaffolding and mobile plant safety risks. The Final Report identifies the key findings and highlights the need for Scheme accredited companies to do better in relation to scaffolding safety.
