Federal Safety Commissioner Extends Timeframe on Small and Regional Company Survey
Federal Safety Commissioner David Denney is extending the timeframe of the Small and Regional Construction Company Survey by two weeks.
“Our commitment to a safer construction industry covers all builders across Australia, including small builders and builders in regional locations. Our collaborative approach means that we want to hear the opinions of these builders, and ensure our ongoing implementation of the WHS Accreditation Scheme is inclusive of the whole construction industry. It’s great to see that already more than sixty companies have provided their input. I’m keen to hear as many views as possible from small and regional businesses on the relevance and accessibility of the Scheme,” said the Commissioner.
Construction companies identifying as small and/or regionally based and not currently Scheme accredited, are invited to help the OFSC gain a better understanding of their views of industry safety and Scheme accreditation by taking part in the Federal Safety Commissioner Small and Regional Construction Company Survey.
The survey will now close on Friday 18 December 2020. Responses to the survey are anonymous. Questions about the survey can be directed to the OFSC assist line on 1800 652 500 or email fscreporting@dewr.gov.au.
