In recognition of Workers’ Memorial Day and World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2024 the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner has produced a new Tipper Truck Safety infographic for the building and construction industry. The new safety resource developed in collaboration with one of our expert Federal Safety Officers aims to assist WHS managers and site supervisors to identify and control key risks onsite where people and plant interaction occurs. The guide offers practical, expert advice on implementing safe systems of work, truck selection and design, and work environment. 

The OFSC held a webinar on Truck and Trailer Safety earlier this year. The session featured a comprehensive presentation from Scheme accredited builder Acciona Australia on the company’s current safety management process for Truck and Trailer Safety, and closed with a Q&A session with our expert panel.
